NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Date: Thursday 25th November 2021

Time: 6pm start

Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the Fitzroy Legal Service Inc. will be held as follows:

Venue: Online Meeting via Zoom

The business of the meeting shall be as follows:

  • Item 1 - Attendance/apologies
  • Item 2 - Confirmation of the minutes of the previous annual general meeting
  • Item 3 - Receipt and consideration of the annual report of the Board & financial statements
  • Item 4 - Elections for board members 

Elections will be held for the following two positions:
CLASS C – 3 year terms, due to expire 2024 Annual General Meeting

  • Item 5 - Confirmation of appointed board member
    Tony Macvean (appointed for a 3 year term from 28 April 2021 – 28 April 2024)
  • Item 6 - General Business

NOMINATIONS FOR BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS

Nominations of eligible members are hereby called for. Nominations must comply with the determination made by the Board pursuant to rule 40 (included in the nomination form). Nominees are encouraged to use the nomination form, though only page one is required. Valid notice must be given in accordance with rule 6, which allows for e-mail to secretary@fls.org.au, post to PO Box 297, Fitzroy VIC 3065, by 5.00 pm Monday 15 November 2021.

Proxies may be appointed for the meeting pursuant to rule 24. Members may use the proxy form, though this is not required.

To register to attend the AGM , send an apology, and/or submit your proxy form please e-mail secretary@fls.org.au by Monday 15 November 2021.  Zoom meeting details will be provided to registered attendees only.
